Thanksgiving In Our New Home

Donna and I sat in awe as we prayed with her family in our home in Anderson, SC for Thanksgiving.  It was a realization of a year and a half pray to be closer to family and doing God's work as a Pastor.  I do not deserve these blessing but I am truly grateful. I only wish my folks from Spartanburg could have made it but we will see them soon.  I pray everyone enjoys their families this season and please remember to give thanks to God for all he has done.

Delivering Thanksgiving Meals with Homeland Park Fire

I was blessed to be able to help the men and women volunteers of Homeland Park Fire Department deliver Thanksgiving Meals to needy people across the south side of Anderson, SC.  For six years now they have taken over on Thanksgiving day for Meals on Wheels and stepped in to help.  They do the same for Christmas as well.  By the end of the day I was blessed more than those people we served.  It was great to see families of the firefighters all work together for this.  It reminded me a lot of how Jesus' church should be as well.  A few hours of service went a long way.  Thanks again for this opportunity and memory.
