Taking Next Steps Means God Sets Our Pace

 

I was struck with the thought of having to take a "step of faith" like Abraham in (Genesis 12:1-4) that involved leaving family, stability and comfort. The takeaway is God had a better plan for Abraham. Each time God only gave Hm the "next step". Then it hit me, God wants us to move at His pace to develop our trust in Him. Getting a head with too much information moves us to go in our own direction without leadership. Stay the course, trust the information you have at the moment, make a decision, commit to and trust God for the next step.
