I consider myself lucky to be in a network of youth pastors in the Wilmington area that meat regularly to encourage and pray for one another.  Each meeting brings a topic of discussion.  On March 27, our topic was:


Things That Hurt Our Student Ministry (Youth Pastors Brain Storming)

  • Poor Leadership
    • Leaders who are good people but not good with students.
    • Leaders the seek your position of leadership
  • Teen Romances (Drama from Teens Dating In The Youth Group)
  • Competitive Churches (Trying To Be Like The Church Down The Street)
  • Church Politics (Stay out of Fights and Quarrels that take away from your mission)
