Thank God For The Roundabouts

Random thought for tonight's lesson: 

Exodus 13:17 says that when Pharaoh let the Israelites go, God did not lead them along the main road which was the shortest route because it was more dangerous. He took them on a roundabout way through the wilderness while guiding them with a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire by night. Sounds like the journeys God sends us on may not be the most direct route, but there are reasons He takes us on the roundabout. Also, He guides us if we will just look for Him!
