I was reminded today of the way God's goodness works. It's important to remember no matter what we are going through that God has our good at the center of His will for our lives.
I found this statement in my YouVersion devotion that I would like to share with you today. It is based off of God's comforting of Joseph who endured many hardships at the time that proved to be fruitful. God told him,
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. (Genesis 50:20 NLT)
Read What The Commentator Said:
Be careful not to water this down. It does not say, “God used it for good” or “God turned it for good.” It says, “God intended (meant) it for good.” Although Satan and evil forces had a bad purpose in mind, God had a good purpose. God didn’t start cleaning up halfway through this sinful affair. He had a purpose, a meaning, from the beginning. From the start, he meant it for good.

- The lesson you learn today will lead to blessing of tomorrow.

Hang on today and trust just for today! God is with you today and will be with you when you wake up tomorrow. Though this world is spinning out of control, His hand is still upon you!
